Atreyu Moniaga
Atreyu Moniaga, hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, has always been mesmerized by symbols and the deep stories they tell. Since he was young, this passion has fueled his art, turning each creation into a heartfelt expression of his thoughts and feelings. His art, rich with captivating details and a touch of magic, mirrors his own journey of finding and accepting himself.
Aside from an artist, Moniaga is also known as a photographer, actor and former lecturer. In 2015, he starred in Lucky Kuswandi’s short film The Fox Exploits the Tiger’s Might, which competed at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in the Semaine de la Critique section.
In 2014, Atreyu Moniaga took on the remarkable mission of nurturing emerging
talents within the realms of illustration and photography through Atreyu Moniaga Project. This visionary initiative has flourished into a vibrant platform, not only showing and refining young artists, but also creating exhibitions that magnify the depth and diversity of their artistic expression.
Notably, Moniaga has expanded his creative horizons internationally, showcasing his works on the global stage and engaging in collaborations with prominent figures such as acclaimed Fashion Designer Sebastian Gunawan and Grammy Award-winning singer Jewel.
